Hearing God’s Voice

What if the difference between missing what God is doing and living in His power comes down to hearing His voice? In John 10, there were people who had been around Jesus, they saw the miracles, and heard the teaching, yet they did not recognize that He was the messiah. However, there were some in the same crowd that were convinced and believed. What was the difference? Jesus makes a clear distinction, the ones who did believe were those who heard from God and they recognized Him. This message reminds us that faith grows when we quiet our hearts and let the Holy Spirit lead, guide, and speak to us. The question is simple...will we trust our own understanding, or will we listen and follow where God is calling us?
